My uncle named me. He and Mamie were there when I was born in 1974.  Also the day of a very important Cowboys  game (smiley face). He decided after he saw "Play Misty for Me" as well as the song "Misty Blue"...that it was a good string of "Ms" my mom had already started with Melissa and Michelle.  I spent a lot of summers with my uncle, aunt and cousins and I tortured them to no end  and I will have fond memories of watching his girls and son running up and hugging his legs when he returned home from work everyday. Uncle Ruben was always the person connecting people, personally and professionally. I had  the opportunity to work with him at Kelly AFB and even though he had the most infectious giggle or was a jokester, we knew he was serious about his work and I so respected him for that. He and Mamie  always made me feel like i was one of their own. Those are the memories I cherish. Describing him as the best uncle doesn't do him any justice.  He is simply the best human. Until we meet again Uncle. "well you can call me Ray or you can call me Jay or you can call me Johnny, or you can call me Sunny..... you know the rest. 

So sorry for the death of your love one. He was a good and nice man. He will be missed. Prayers for the family on this hard times.

My deepest condolences to the Reyna family.
Ruben Reyna was a great man. The  first coach to believe in me and give me the green light to steal any base I wanted and one day I chose to steal home while the pitcher had the ball and I hear Rudy but it was to late I was taking it and I scored. Many more great memories due to this great man who will be forever missed but never forgotten.Thank for your service to this country and all the young boys from the cyo St. Leonard A's.

When we met many, many moons ago we had a genuine connection of friendship and work ethic. I believe in angels, now heaven has one more to shine brightly in the dim of night. Passing on leaves a heartache no one can heal, but yet knowing you leaves a memory no one can ever steal... Until we meet up again my friend...! 

All I ever wanted was to be just like you, pops.

My dad loved to be around his grandchildren.  He started acting like them 😂. It kept him young. My girls miss him dearly.  

Having the opportunity to have been able to hunt and fish along side you and little Ruben  along with my dad, has been the best experience and happiness in my younger years even in my younger teenage years. You were the best coach as well for our CYO  St. Leonard Athletics baseball team. I have to many great and funny memories to list, you will be truly missed coach.

I will miss your voice when calling, “hello there, how you doing” followed up by a loud “huh” cause you could never quite hear me.  

Our hearts are so heavy, I thank you for being a wonderful grandpa to Araceli, she loved you more than anything. You will be dearly missed, please continue to watch over her. 

I miss you my brother. My treasured memories will carry me through life until we meet again. I will miss your smile, laughter and your crazy Reyna attitude.
