Ruby D. Rico

She will be reunited in heaven with her parents; loving husband of 61 years, Manuel H. Rico; 5 brothers; and 5 sisters.

Ruby is loved and will be greatly remembered by her children, Manuel A. Rico (Dianna), Nicholas D. Rico, Alma R. Sanchez (Rudy), Sylvia R. Gonzales (Raul), Ricardo Rico (Lora), and Laura D. Martinez (Armando); 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; her sister; and her fur dog Max; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212, on October 21, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, with a Rosary to follow at 6:30 pm.

A procession will depart Porter Loring Mortuary on October 22, 2025, at 9:30 am for the Mass at St. Peter Prince of The Apostles Catholic Church, 111 Barilla Pl, San Antonio, TX 78209, at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
