She joins her son, Joseph Salinas in heaven.
She will be fondly remembered by her husband, Jose Zapata, her children, Valerie Borrego and son-in-law David Borrego, her son Joadam Zapata and her daughter, Melanie Zapata and son-in-law James Reyna; grandchildren, Anaya Borrego, Kayla Zapata, Zoe Borrego, David Borrego and Faith Borrego.
Ruby or as many knew her Kool Kat was known for her boundless humor, infectious smile, and her ability to turn even the most ordinary moments into something to laugh about.
While we mourn her passing, we will also celebrate the joy and laughter she brought into our lives. We know she’s somewhere up there, making everyone laugh, and probably telling them "Let's Boogie"
A visitation for Ruby will be held Friday, January 17, 2024 from 12PM - 11PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto rd, 78211 with a celebration of life to begin at 7:00 PM.
