I've caught myself thinking of my Grandpa just the other day...and instantly I started to feel warmth, comfort, happiness and laughter.  Great big smile on my face.  I was about 6 yrs old and I remember getting excited because my Grandpa was coming home from work... He would always give me huge hugs and kisses... And would say if you want to go to the swimming pool you better eat all your food..  we would walk to the swimming pool with my floaties in one hand and the other was holding onto my Grandpa's loving hand.  I remember feeling like I was the luckiest little girl in the world!   As time passed... I knew deep down in my heart that that little girl inside of me was and still the luckiest person in the world...  I love you grandpa!!

My Granpa was my light, I adored him all my life. He was more like my Father & I know he Loved me like his daughter. I will keep those memories in my heart for ever. I will always remember taking road trips to Larado & Kerville then stopping at " What-a-burger" before going home.When he would come home fom work he would always take a nap before dinner and He would let me put flat curls in his hair so when he got up to eat he had all these bobbypins all over his head & granma would laugh & granpa would look at me with his lovin smile ~ Priceless Memories......

I had met you once a few yrs. back and we talk for hours. You told me so much about yourself and your family.  It was all so very special to me, and I thank God for the time we had. I will never forget you.  God bless.

Remembering Tio Lofo with many fond memories of laughter and joking around. Never a boring moment when he was around.  One of the many memories was when Larry went to California with him & Tia Ketta only to make him a more loving husband as he was with Tia Ketta. We will always cherish the memories in our hearts. So many memories pop up in my head when I
 think of Uncle Rudy. How his face lit up when he walked into our house to visit. We just loved it when he came over! And I was lucky to stay over with him and Tia Ketta at their house. I so looked up to Elsie and Betty! Such a loving family. But one memory of Uncle Rudy will always be foremost in my mind. I was six years old when he walked into our house one day and there was some Glenn Miller music blaring out of some room. He walked up to my mother, pulled her up out of her chair and they started dancing the jitterbug like two pros! I was stunned! I saw my mother in a whole new light and Uncle Rudy became a secret idol of mine after that! Love and light, Uncle Rudy! Rest in peace. Diana Nunez (Lund, Sweden)

Remembering Uncle Rudy brings a smile to our face; he was full of laughs, always joking but, above all, he loved his family. It seemed like he and Tia Ketta were inseparable.   Playing Canasta with him was unforgettable----his sayings, his expressions are all etched in our memory.  He was one of a kind and we'll miss him.  May he rest in peace.
