

He was preceded in death by his father, Claudio Duque; his mother, Maria Morales Duque; his sisters, Cynthia Duque and Juaquina De La Cruz; and his brother, Claudio “Junior” Duque.
Rudy is survived by his beloved son, Michael Duque; his brothers, Rogelio Duque and David Duque; and his sisters, Connie Espinosa and Margaret Duque. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Rudy graduated from Kennedy High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career. He worked for NationsBank and later Bank of America for more than 30 years, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and dependable nature. Afterward, he continued working with GardaWorld Security until his retirement a few years ago.
Outside of work, Rudy enjoyed country and Tejano music, spending time at the beach, and dancing. He found joy in simple moments shared with family and friends.
Above all, Rudy will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need, whether family, friend, or stranger. His caring heart, loyalty, and generosity made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238, on May 28, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
