Ruth was preceded in death by her father and mother, Carmel and Gonzalo Martinez, as well as her sister, Olivia Arredondo.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria Miller and husband Glenn; sons, John Astorga and wife Maria, Rito Astorga and wife Belinda; grandchildren, Andrew Joseph Astorga, Rito Joseph Astorga, Christina, John, Steven and Nicholas Capote; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Alexis, Keileigh, Jakob and Remy; sister, Pauline Morales.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M.
A second visitation on Friday, August 18, 2023 will be at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Road, San Antonio, Texas 78251 beginning at 9:00 A.M. to follow with a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
