Mrs. Seymour Ruth Lippard, born in Wharton, TX where she met her late husband, Seymour Lippard, and was daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Tobe Gordon, died Thursday, August 2, 2001. They moved to San Antonio in 1930. Mrs. Lippard was active in the San Antonio Little Theatre, the San Antonio Symphony, and the San Antonio Opera, and was a charter member of the Friends of the McNay. Survivors: daughter, Louise Wright, San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Amy Flowers, Ph.D., Macon, GA; nephew, Gordon Gamm, Boulder, CO.
