Ruth is survived by her husband, Jose Martin Tapia; children, Monica Villarreal and husband Miguel, Luis Tapia, Jose Tapia Jr. and wife Jennifer; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, especially Ricardo Aguirre and his wife Rosario; sisters, Petra Cortez, Anita Jimenez and husband Hector, Maria Rios and husband Giraldo; brother, Jose Angel Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.
