'So sorry to hear! Praying for you and your family for strength and healing. I still think about Livi and Samantha every time we watch a Harry Potter movie. I was out of town last week or I would've been there.'

'Prayers for all of Sam's family and friends. It was such a privilege to have her in my business computer class at Johnson High School. I have many fond memories of her sweet presence in class. She was always calm and confident in a very genuine manner; her work was perfect--I could use her papers as my "key" for grading. Please know how sad I am to hear of her passing. May God grant you peace and comfort as you remember all the happier times spent with her.'

'We will always remember Samantha as a happy, beautiful little girl coming to Lauren's birthday parties. I still have a picture of her and Lauren dancing at Chuck-E-Cheeses. We have great family memories with Dan,Lisa, John Lisa and all the kids spending the summer at Canyon Lake.

My heart breaks over Samantha's passing and I grieve with you in your loss. Samantha was a
 special angel that God gave to this world for a short time. She was the most kind, giving, and gentle soul I have known. I don't believe she ever had a mean thought. I remember how precious and funny Samantha was at her first birthday party that you gave for her at your house in St. Hedwig, Texas. She had a good sense of humor and a keen wit. Over the years I admired her desire for learning and her persistence in achieving her goals. And she grew into a beautiful young woman. I am proud to have been her aunt. I will miss her so much but I know she will live on in the hearts and memories of many people.'

'Samantha and I were close friends throughout elementary school and we attended high school together. I remember walking around with her at recess and trying to get through PE together. Sam was incredibly artistic and she used to make me slips of paper with my name written in beautiful artistic fonts. I remember my favorite ones and I probably still have a few stashed around somewhere. We both went to Disney World in the same school year. I brought her back a charm for her charm bracelet and she brought me a necklace with my first initial. I still wear it to this day. In high school she was as lovely and artistic as ever. She made her prom dress herself and it was beautiful. Only Sam could pull that off. Love you and miss you, Sam.'

'I was privileged to know Sam as a faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program she was completing. She always impressed me as one of the most intelligent and genuinely sweet students I have ever known. As I got to know her better, I found that she also possessed a sharp wit and a keen sense of humor that left me overwhelmed with laughter on several occasions. All who knew her are heartbroken at losing her. We love you, Sam, and we will miss you. Grace and peace to you all as you remember her.'

'I am from the MEND clinic in Maryville TN.we only knew Samantha for a short time in February, but she won't our hearts. This breaks our hearts. Just want you to know that we bought lymphoma tee-shirts and we're going to wear them every wed. in honor of Sam. We are still going to wear them. Just know we are standing with you....'

'I distinctly remember meeting Samantha during the orientation last June for our new class of students at South College Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She came into our program as one of our strongest applicants and I was confident that she would be very successful in our unique accelerated program. That proved to be the case, as Samantha was a straight-A student, one of the few in her class to accomplish this level of academic success. Even when she left our onsite lab early in March due to her illness, the faculty were confident that if any student could continue her studies while going thru medical treatment, it was Samantha. Unfortunately, we have now lost one of our best and the loss is palpable to all of her classmates and her faculty. I hope the family knows that we will strive to keep Samantha's memory alive in our program and that we cherish the time we were able to spend with her. On behalf of all the students, staff, and faculty at South College, you have our deepest condolences.'
