Samuel Nerio Lopez of San Antonio, TX was born on July 2,1942. He went to be with our Lord on May 17, 2017 at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Maria Lopez and Jesusita Nerio; two sisters, Carolina Mata and Dora Olvera. He is survived by his beloved wife Josie Lopez; children Samuel N. Lopez Jr. (Christina), Joe Lopez, Rafael Lopez (Rosalinda), Bobby Lopez (Gloria); brother, Joe Lopez; sisters, Sylvia Sanchez (Lone) and Urene Uresti along with 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins. Samuel enjoyed fishing and welding along with spending quality time with his family and friends. The family would like to express special thanks to nurse Gloria Botello with Compass USS Hospice. He will truly be missed by family and friends. A Visitation will be on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 8:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio, TX 78211. Services will conclude after Rosary.
