Sandra Lee Phillips

Sandra Lee Phillips passed away at the age of 75 in San Antonio, TX on March 29, 2020. She was born on December 25, 1944, in Detroit, MI to Bernard and Evelyn Wutzke. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Samuel Lloyd Phillips, dear son Jon A. Phillips, and siblings Bernard, Carol, Diane and Dennis. She will be greatly missed by her church family, friends and other relatives.

Sandra was married to Samuel Lloyd Phillips on April 4, 1970, and they were blessed with one son, Jon. She supported her husband in his Air Force career. They were active in the VFW, and supported the Wounded Warrior Project. She became the sole caregiver for Samuel during the 22 years after he fell ill.

Sandra was devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was baptized into the Christian faith on June 11, 1949. She became a charter member of Abundant Life Church in San Antonio, where she was an active member. Sandra was a loving wife, mother and friend. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Church at a later date.
