Santiago Miguel Conchas

Santiago was born in Laredo, Texas on May 23,1934, the oldest son of seven children. Santiago enlisted into the Army at the age of 18 and upon completing his enlistment returned to Texas. He then received his GED, attending College where he obtained his Associates Degree, and later had a family. Santiago obtained a position working for the City of San Antonio as Master Plumber for over 35 years, at which he then retired. He lived a happy and full life.

Santiago is survived by his two children, Santiago M. Conchas, Jr. and Cecilia F. Castillo; two grandchildren, Samantha A. Castillo & Victoria A. Conchas; 5 siblings, Guadalupe Conchas-Rivera, Jesus Bonifacio Conchas, Micaela Roberson, Miguel Patricio Conchas, & Maria Magdalena Amaro; several nieces & nephews; in addition to great nieces and nephews.

Santiago is predeceased by his parents Miguel Conchas and Maria Magdalena Navarro; and sibling Hipolita Gregoria Conchas.
