Scott George Milam, age 94, went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 18, 2008. He was born on December 31, 1913 in San Antonio, TX. He served his country in US Army during WWII. Was captured on the beach in Salerno, Italy and spent 2 years as a German POW until war ended in 1945. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mary Gay Milam and grandson, Scott Jea Milam of Corsicana, TX; his two brothers, Richard and Robert Milam and sister, Alice Cisneros. He is survived by two sons, John Scott Milam and wife, Dianna; and Thomas Allan Milam; special friend, Pete Herrada all of San Antonio; and his daughter Suzanne Grafton and husband, Burl Grafton of San Angelo, TX; his brother, Ben Milam and wife, Helen of Burleson, TX; his sister, Laura Marsh of San Antonio; four grandsons, David Milam of Irving, TX; Gerald Grafton of Sulphur Springs, TX; Robert Grafton of San Angelo, TX and Mark Grafton of Austin, TX. Among his survivors are eight great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews and extended military family.
