Selena was known for throwing a party for anybody or anything. She loved to host a crowd of people and celebrate. Her family meant everything to her, and she would regularly check on everybody to make sure that they were ok. She was always in touch with her aunts, uncles, and cousins and enjoyed sharing the latest news with each of her family members. She was married for 35 years to her husband who was the love of her life. They enjoyed traveling to places close and abroad.
She had a 24 year banking career with the last 14 years serving as a VP/Group Manager for Frost Bank. Even after retiring, she would regularly dine with her former coworkers. She was always loving and listening to those who needed her most.
Her favorite verse was Philippians 4:13 "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." She lived her faith out every day and was an active member of Community Bible Church for over 15 years. She loved participating in her Wednesday Lady's Bible Study, and she also served in the children's ministry. It wasn't uncommon for her friends and family to be on her prayer list. She loved finding ways to bless those that were closest to her.
Selena is preceded in death by her mother, Connie “Honey” Perez. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Perez, Sr.; sons, Cliff Perez, Jr. (Brenna) and Cyle Perez; grandson, Clark Edward Perez; sisters, Liz Muniz and Connie Lou Ortiz (Noe, Sr), brother, Senen “Sonny” Perez Jr. (Bernice); father, Senen G.
