Sergio V. Gonzalez

Sergio (Chepe) Gonzalez born on February 22, 1961 passed away July 27, 2013 at the age of 52 to join his father, Ignacio Gonzalez in heaven. Sergio leaves behind his loving wife, Carol, of 31 years, his children; Sergio Jr., Stephen and wife Angela, daughter Stephanie and grandson Sebastian; also, his mother, Pasquala; brothers and sisters; Maria de Lourdes, Ignacio, Maria de la Luz, Raul, Lydia, Richard, Arnulfo, Joe, and Virginia. A 1979 Fox tech High School graduate who attended auto shop, he was well known for his classic cars, love for Harley-Davidson bikes and very especially for Sergio’s Total Performance Transmission business that was based on quality work. Pacific and quiet, his accumulation of an extremely large number of friends were due to his traits of honesty, charity, goodness, fairness, and love for friendship. Sergio’s strength came from not being negative and strong acceptance of reality, but most of all his love, pride and joy for his wife and kids, especially his grandson. His fullness of a family life came by keeping his family together by his side either at home or on vacations. If his name was mentioned, it was well known who he was. There will always be only just one S-E-R-G-I-O! Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday July 31, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday August 1, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 804 Ruiz St.
