Seth Michael Garrettson

Seth Michael Garrettson, 18, of San Antonio, TX, died June 12, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, which occurred in Riggins, Idaho. Seth was born July 21, 1996 at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He attended Stevens High School in San Antonio his freshman, sophomore and junior year. Seth transferred to Grangeville, Idaho and graduated from Grangeville, High School in 2015. Seth had a passion for art and aspired to be an art teacher. He enjoyed spending time outdoors playing with his puppy, skateboarding, cooking, barbecuing and loved to share his artistic talents with those that he loved. Seth will be missed by not only family, but by anyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his blond hair and beautiful blue eyes, contagious smile and kind heart.

Seth is survived by his parents Sean and Stefanie Garrettson of San Antonio, his brothers Seth Christian Champion & Sean Michael Garrettson Jr., Sean’s parents, Bryan & Jennifer Garrettson, Janice & Geoff Head and Stefanie’s parents, Ernest William Jr. & Anna Champion. He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Chris & Denise Garrettson, Brandon Garrettson, Brian & Chelsea Garrettson, Kevin & Kylee Garrettson and Brandi &Paz Weems.

Seth is preceded in death by his birth mother Michele Dawn Garrettson of Oroville, California who passed away when Seth was one year old and is survived by her parents, George and Cherylyn Kerley of Grangeville, Idaho.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home located at 6321 Bandera Road San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be held the morning of Tuesday 23 June 2015, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow on the same day at 2:00 pm at the Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian located at 11624 Culebra Road San Antonio.
