He is preceded in death by his parents, Eluterio and Leonor Casanova; wife, Margarita Gonzalez Casanova.
He is survived by his children, Melissa Casanova (Jesus); Rodolfo Casanova, Cindy Casanova and Michael Casanova (Rufina); 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister, Irma Ayala; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Visitation for will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 5:00 pm. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78226.
