Sharon Ann Smith

Sharon lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. She traveled throughout the world to include many cruises. She had a passion for teaching and making memories with her grandchildren and family.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Richard T. and Mary Rivero Ybanez; Paternal grandparents, Manuel and Herminia Ybanez; maternal grandparents, Jesus Delfino and Frances Rivero.

She is survived by her loving husband of years 45 1/2 years , Romel J. Smith Sr.; children, Romel James Smith Jr.(Angela) , Anthony James Smith and Brent James Smith (Jennifer); grandchildren, Lyza, Emily, Brayden, Anthony Jr., Adriana, Abraham, Elijah, Miriam and Romel III; great granddaughter, Amour; siblings, Sandy Salazar (Daniel), Sarah Gutierrez, Shirley Barrientes (Thomas) and Richard R. Ibanez Jr. (Cindy).

The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m with The Rev. Jeffrey Ibanez officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel.
