Sidney Guy Wilmot, age 50, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021. He was born on February 9, 1970 in Plattsburgh, Clinton County, New York to Ralph William Wilmot and Kay Charlene Cooper.

Sid was raised in San Antonio, Texas and attended Southwest High School. His life was impacted by kidney disease. He alternated between dialysis and 3 separate kidney transplants over the course of his life. Even so, Sidney maintained a happy generous outlook to life.

Sidney was predeceased by his father Ralph; his mother Kay and brother James William Wilmot.

Survivors are brother Randy Lee Wilmot (KS); sisters Evelyn Pearl Wilmot (TX) and Marcia Renee Wilmot (TX): nephews Ismael Jesus Godina (TX) and Christopher Lee Wilmot (CA); nieces Kay Marie Wilmot (TX), Rachel Nicole Wilmot (CA), and Jessica May Godina (TX).

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Monday, March 15, 2021 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78238 with visitation starting at 4:00 P.M.
