Silvia M. Vargas

Silvia loved to use her creativity to make beautiful paintings and drawings of landscapes. She would often crochet items, and did home projects with her partner and her home. Her creativity also followed into her cooking, where she would create delicious enchiladas, capirotada, and would create delicious dishes with leftovers from the night prior. Every year during the holidays she would invite all the family for the tamalada. Everyone would help out to make the tamales then to eat them fresh. Silvia was the heart of the family. If anyone needed help, Silvia was there. If anyone needed to talk, Silvia was there. She would often reach out to the extended family to see how they were doing and to catch up. Silva was the warmth and sunshine of the family and often filled the family with joy and happiness. Silvia met George Garcia on – while going out to eat with her sister. On that rainy day she met George and it was love at first sight.

Silvia will be united in heaven with her parents; Amparo and Lino M. Espinoza.

Silvia’s memory will forever live in the hearts of her son; Cristobal Garcia; partner, George Garcia. Step-children; George Garcia and Crystal Lee Olague, and her siblings; Teodoro Espinoza, David Espinoza, Lino Espinoza Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A visitation for Silvia will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.
