Socorro E. Martinez

Socorro E. Martinez, born on January 23, 1924 in Kerrville, TX was called to be with The Lord on November 20, 2018 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Paul Martinez, Sr. She is survived by her children, Martha Flores (Jesus, Jr.) Jose Martinez, Jr. (Rosalinda), Diana Penuelaz (Alex) and Sylvia Pastrano (Ernest); granddaughters, Jessica Flores, Adriana Sandoval and Alexandra Paiz; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Vanessa Paiz; brother, Lazaro Vitela; sister, Janie Leyva. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Juan de los Lagos Shrine, 3211 El Paso St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery & Mausoleum II.
