Sophia Blake Solis

Sophia Blake Solis, a beloved baby girl, graced the world with her presence on March 31, 2025, in San Antonio, TX. She brought immeasurable joy and love to her family. Sophia passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born to adoring parents, Eleazar "Hando" and Jennifer Solis, Sophia was the embodiment of their love and dreams. She was a source of boundless joy for her big sister, Kamila Noelle Solis, who cherished every sweet hug and giggle they shared. Sophia's arrival was celebrated by her doting paternal grandparents, Ailene and John Ortega, and her maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Ibarra and Oscar Zepeda. She was welcomed into a loving family that included her uncles, Justice Ortega, John Ortega II, Oscar Zepeda Jr., Victor (Anahi) Zepeda, and Jaiden Perez as well as her aunt, Alyssa Cervantes, and numerous cousins. Sophia joined a lineage of angels, including her great-grandmother, Dora Maria Gonzales, her great-grandfather's, Santos "Mickey" Rodriguez and Blas Medina Sr., and paternal grandfather, Eleazar Solis.

Her family will forever cherish the memories of her long naps after enjoying her bottle, the way she relaxed during bath time, and the loving embrace of her mama's arms. Sophia's father will hold close the memory of her contented smiles in response to his tender kisses. Her life was a precious gift, and her memory will be treasured forever.

Sophia's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. As they navigate this period of mourning, they find solace in the knowledge that Sophia's time on Earth was filled with warmth and happiness.

A private visitation will be held to honor the beautiful life of Sophia Blake Solis, allowing those closest to her to say their goodbyes in a space filled with love and remembrance. Sophia's life, though fleeting, reminds us all to cherish every moment with our loved ones and to embrace the pure joy that each new life brings into the world.

A visitation for Sophia will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary - West, 1710 West Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78251.
