Stanley H. Dennis

Stanley H. Dennis, 84, beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at home in San Antonio, TX. He was a lifelong native of San Antonio, born to Bernard and Gertrude (Lehmann) Dennis.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St. Mary's University in 1957, graduating in the top ten of his class.

He was a true entrepreneur, with a keen business sense, and he operated multiple businesses over the course of his career.

Stanley is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Dennis; sons: Larry W. Dennis (N. Syracuse, NY) and David A. Dennis (Anchorage, AK); Anthony Tobias and Christopher Tobias (both of San Antonio, TX); daughters: Deborah K. Dennis (N. Syracuse, NY) and Maggie Tobias (San Antonio, TX); ten grandchildren and five greatgrand children; two brothers: Carl Dennis and Orville Dennis (both of San Antonio); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Dr. John E. Dickson and Dr. Jose Font-Cordoba MD of San Antonio, TX for their compassion and professionalism.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Porter Loring Chapel, 1101 McCullough, San Antonio, TX 78212.

On Wednesday, January 14th; a procession will depart Porter Loring Chapel at 9:30 AM for a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM to be held at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine, San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by interment in San Fernando Cemetery II.
