Stephanie Jan Sowell, 47, of San Antonio, Texas, received her eternal healing on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 while sleeping at home with her loving husband, Stephen. She attended Southwestern Assemblies of God College and graduated from Central Bible College and Kaplan University. She married the love of her
life, Stephen John Sowell, on December 28, 1996. Stephanie’s pursuit to express God’s love is seen in her mission trip to Guatemala, the churches she served as children’s pastor (Winslow Faith and Bethel Assembly of God); the schools she served as a teacher (Merchantville, Marlton, and Yorktown Christian Academies), the school she served as a special assistant (Delaware Elementary), and the several churches she served as a children’s ministry leader.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents Mildred and
Thomas Martin and Marsh and Marjorie Watson.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Stephen John Sowell; parents, John Thomas Martin
and Barbara Jan Martin; sister, Lisa (Martin) Pauls, and her husband Eric; brother, Chad Martin, and his wife Carey; sister, Sara (Martin) Olson, and her husband Wes; and nephews Jonathan and Dane Pauls, Joshua and Matthew Martin; Luke and Mark Olson.
