He was the Professor and Chairman, Hugh B. Tilson Endowed Chair, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; sons, Matthew and Kevin; sister, Stacy Stone and husband, John of Kerrville, Texas; brother, Deryk Milam of Basin, Wyoming; and aunt, Bil Sullivan-Jones Butner and husband, Bill of Fort Worth, Texas.
A private family interment will follow in Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
