Steven Rene Cantu, Jr.

Steven loved making memories with his family and although he had a tough exterior, he was a very loving, accepting person and demonstrated this by not judging anyone and believed you should not accept anything less than what you were worth. He enjoyed the outdoors and country music. He was passionate about riding his bike and loved every minute of it. Steven had recently started his own company, Texar Remodeling LLC, which was doing very well.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Rene Cantu Sr., and a brother, Junior Cantu.

Steven is survived by his mother, Loretta Cantu and her husband, Pilar Cantu; sisters, Natalie Marie Cantu and her husband, Roberto Gonzalez; brothers, Justin Rey Cantu, and Waylon Thomas Cantu and his wife, Amanda; and sister, Katylynn Cantu; as well as his nieces and nephews, Gabriella Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Jr., Avery Lynn Cantu, Josiah Rene Cantu and Jaxon Rey Cantu.

Guests are invited to pay their respects on Friday, July 30, 2021 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary. A procession will depart 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, 102 Lorenz.

Friends and family are invited back to Porter Loring Mortuary to visit with the Cantu family on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
