

A loving son, and father, and caring brother.
He adored spending time with family and friends, he was a loyal friend to many.
Steven had a passion for nature and the outdoors!
He first developed a liking for fishing at the age of three.
Most Saturday mornings he’d be watching “Mo Fishing” and Bill Dance instead of cartoons
He later became a boy scout and earned many commemorative pins and patches.
His daughter, Destiny was his greatest love of all.
He loved music, gardening, fishing, outdoor grilling, and studying history.
His conversations were always interesting and packed with information.
His latest passion was traveling and exploring the deserts of Nevada, the mountains of Colorado, and finally he began an annual camping trip to visit the various state parks of Texas with his best friend Tony.
Steven is preceded in death his stepfather, Randy Hoyos; Grandmothers, Theresa Vigil and Dora Gagne. Grandfather, Alfred Gagne.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Destiny Gagne Gashy; mother and father, Dana Vigil Hoyos & Steve Gagne. Including his stepmother, Lydia Gagne.
His siblings: Amber Juitt (Brian), Tara Tamez (Kris), Tommie Gagne and Sydney Hoyos.
Grandfather: Daniel Vigil. And two nephews, Nathaniel Hoyos, Noah Hoyos; and niece Nina Hoyos,
With many more loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A visitation for Steven will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A rosary will occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Archdiocese of San Antonio -Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78266.
