

Steven Bradley Searls, age 56, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on December 24, 2025. He was born on August 31,1969, to Roberta DuBose Searls and Clement Farwell “Tim” Searls III.
Steve graduated in 1987 from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio. He went on to build a distinguished career in the automotive industry for over 35 years, where he earned deep respect for his expertise, leadership, and innovation. Steve was widely recognized for his exceptional craftsmanship and creative vision. His ability to design and construct custom vehicles—ranging from show trucks to hunting rigs, boats, and specialty builds—set a standard of excellence within the local industry. His work was admired for its precision, originality, and unforgettable presence.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Steve was a devoted outdoorsman with a passion for hunting. He also took great pride in his home and surroundings, dedicating time to his yard, landscaping, and his love of flowers. Known for his sharp wit, approachable nature, and genuine kindness, Steve shared a special connection with animals, particularly dogs. It was often said he never met a dog that did not adore him.
Steve will be remembered for his integrity, his unique sense of humor, his dedication to his craft, and his warm, memorable crooked smile.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta DuBose Searls, and his father, Clement Farwell “Tim” Searls III.
Steve is survived by his devoted wife, and best friend of 22 years, Tiffany Searls; his beloved sons, Sheppard Searls and Taylor Searls; and his faithful cocker spaniel, Parker. Steve was a devoted husband, proud father, and a man whose love for family was his greatest legacy. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and individuals whose lives he impacted through mentorship, friendship, and his professional contributions.
A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough in San Antonio, Texas.
The Searls family expresses sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Steve's legacy—one of artistry, humor, devotion, and excellence—will continue to inspire and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
