Steven entered rest on January 28, 2019 at the age of 49 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Laredo, Texas on January 17, 1970. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Alicia Wise, Paternal grandparents Ricardo and Juanita Wise, Maternal grandparents Everado and Luz C. Ramirez. He is survived by his father Lucio Wise and brothers Eric and Kenneth. Niece and nephew Amber and Erick. He was an Assistant Professor and Research Librarian at Our Lady of the Lake University, where he worked for the past 18 years. While at OLLU he held many posts one of which was Faculty Assembly President and was well loved by his peers. Arrangements are as follows: Visitation will start at 6 PM Wednesday January 30, 2019 at Sunset NW Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7. Thursday January 31, 2019 a Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Chapel on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University. There will be a procession from the University to Resurrection Cemetery.
