Ohhh, Eileen, my darling friend...how deeply I will miss you😥 You, your love, your support are all the things that helped me survive, quite literally,  my divorce and life shattering changes. You held me up, you cried with me, you made me stronger, you grieved with me, and you helped me to keep looking at Jesus. Most of my good buddies...well, they weren’t there, but you ALWAYS were there. I loved you so very much, and I am so grateful that you are breathing WITHOUT that”stupid oxygen machine!”🙂 Dance with Jesus, little friend, and I am sure you will be leading the angels in cheers for the Spurs!! To My Wonderful Aunt

    Your time has come too soon for us, we know the Lord has opened His arms and welcomed you into His kingdom. I could never truly express how much you shaped and gave value to my life. You helped me succeed and never stopped giving me your love and support. I hold deep sadness in my heart that you are no longer here, but I rejoice in knowing you are finally home! Your love will always be in my heart. You guided me through so much of my life, now you will forever be our guardian angel! I love you forever and always! 

Eileen and I were colleagues and teammates at Pease Middle School. We became fast friends and attended Many Spurs games together.  I treasure the years we had together. Bless her loving family with the beautiful legacy of Eileen’s mercy and love for everyone. 
A  well deserved Eternal embrace in the Loving arms of Her Lord.

When I was little, Eileen was the sophisticated older sister. We lived next door. I heard that she was a huge Elvis fan, and I remember her gray Weimaraner because it was huge and very lively. What I remember most was how strong she was after her divorce and how she raised her kids and loved them with all of her strength. She was a woman of great faith, wit and humor. God Bless her family. In 2006, I was attending the ACFW Conference. I was a finalist in the Genesis Contest, and I had brought my 3-month old son with me. I was going through a rough separation (I also had a 1- year old and a 2-year old at the time) and was very much struggling with self-esteem issues from my husband leaving. It was a difficult time in my life, to say the least. I was talking with Eileen about things, and she was so encouraging. I shared with her that the red dress I was wearing was out of character for me; that I usually wore lighter, softer colors to blend in, not stand out. Later, when I was pouring out my heart and my feelings of inadequacy, Eileen got ahold of my hand and told me, “You. Are. Enough. I saw you in that red dress. You’re not meant to blend in; you’re meant to stand out. You be proud of who you are.” I have never forgotten that, and that’s so indicative of who she was. An encourager, a supporter, a prayer warrior, a true friend. I am so blessed to have been a part of her life and to have been loved by her.
