Susan Irene Dunn

Susan Irene (Tarr) Dunn went to be in the arms of Jesus on October 11, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas after a 7 1/2 year battle with dementia. Susan was born in Bellevue, Washington on February 27, 1952 and grew up in Issaquah, Washington with her father, Richard Landon Tarr, and her mother, Roberta Jean Tarr. She graduated from Newport High School in 1970 and then attended Western Washington University where she obtained her teaching degree. Susan and her husband, Jonathan Lee Dunn, were married April, 27, 1974. Susan loved teaching and those she taught loved her. She taught both children and adults over her 40-year career. She taught Bible Study Fellowship classes for 10 years and developed the initial philosophy and curriculum for the Geneva School of Boerne.

Susan is survived by her mother, Roberta Tarr; her husband and loving caregiver, Jonathan Dunn; her son, Jeffrey Dunn, and his wife, Helen, along with their children Lucy, Alice and James; her daughter, Julie (Dunn) Fuleky, and her husband, Brian, along with their children Nathan, Katelyn and Alexander; her brother, Steve Tarr, and his wife, Cyndie; her sister, Cindi (Tarr) Lomax, and her husband, Jerry; her sister-in-law, Jenny (Dunn) Hurlbut, and her husband, Kim; and her sister-in law, Loveta (Dunn) Cochran, and her husband, Brian.

Memorial donations can be made to the Geneva School of Boerne or Hope Church, San Antonio.
