Susan Lynette Ford, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the age of 51. She was born July 11, 1961 to Melvin L. Ford, Sr. and Ima Juanita (Roach) Ford in Anchorage, AK. Susan earned a B. S. in biology from Abilene Christian University where she was a member of Beta Beta Beta. She was an active member of the Church of Christ. She worked at Dillard’s North Star. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ford, Sr. Susan is survived by her loving mother, Ima Ford; brother, Melvin Ford, Jr. and his family; uncles, Jack Roach and Charles Ponder and their families. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 3:00pm at Sunset Funeral Chapel 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
