

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Susan was a spirited, fun-loving lady of great strength and character.
She touched so many people with her caring attitude and warm and compassionate ways.
Susan was born July 26, 1940, daughter of Meyer and Evelyn Franks in Tyler, Texas.
She was a graduate of Hockaday and later obtained a degree from SMU.
While in college, Susan made her debut as a duchess in the Tyler Rose Festival.
She was an avid tennis player and also enjoyed needlepoint, writing, gardening, and spending time with her puppies.
She was a survivor of Hodgkin's disease for the past 25 years.
Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years Kenneth Train and her daughters Renee Westwood Jeff and Stephanie Puente Sebastian; brother, Jimmy Franks Pat; grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, and Jared Westwood and Sofia Puente; numerous nieces and nephews; and her much-loved puppies, Sasha and Amber.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital for their exceptional care during her illness.
