Suse, a friend tonight made me realize that sincere words, although late in coming, are invaluable. I write tonight to pay tribute to a beautiful woman, an incredible mother, and a very special person who touched so many lives. I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Morse family. I am friends with Eric and Lisa and have been aware of Suse's condition for quite some time. Our thougths and prayers are with the entire family and Eric and Lisa we hope we can get together with you when things slow down for you.

We did not have the good fortune to meet Suse, but reading the obtituary tells me that she was very much like her wonderful son, Eric. Our sympathy to all and especially to our good friend Eric. Your Mom was a bit younger than I, and that is a scary thing. Way too young. Hugs.

I am a friend of Eric and I met Suse only once, during the week of Eric's wedding. She was a warm & kind person whose presence made one feel welcome and gave alot of those wonderful traits to her children. Rest in Peace

I can never picture Suse without a big smile. My association with her in Beethoven Gesangverein was always joyful. Her devotion to the Damenchor was evident when she and Diane Kriese made dirndyls for the entire Chor -- an amazing undertaking, considering the wide size range she had to fit. And I'll never forget the Tooth Fairy outfit she made for Don to wear at Faschingfest. What a hoot!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow. Suse was a special woman I was priveleged to know. Suse opened up her home to me during a difficult time in my life and I will always be thankful for the kindness and generosity she showed me.

In memory of a wonderful woman who was vibrant and full of life. She will be missed by so many . We were blessed to have known her.

I am now past the age of 75 & have been around this world more than the average male my age. Very few people cause me to "light up" by their presence. Susa was one of those people. I can count the number of times I spent with her on the fingers of one hand, but each time was a special event. She made me glad to be alive. Suse, I miss you and hope to see you again in another world.

Suse Dear, Thank you for touching my life. Thank you for making me smile. Knowing people nice as you gives life a brighter touch. Your friendship was a gift that I will enjoy everyday of my life. You are gone, tho will never be forgotten. Till we meet again ..................

Suse was a woman who was dearly loved by her children and always had a zest for life. Of course, I think one of the coolest things is she loved beads and making jewelry!!! In knowing Eric, he exemplifies the love and spirit of his mother. He is tender and compassionate and not afraid to show his feelings. Lisa says that Lia is a spitting image of Suse and from what I have been told is a great compliment. I know Suse's spirit will live on in her children and she will continue to have a positive influence on everyone who loves her. God is holding her now 
in his arms and telling her that she is one of his precious children.

Don, Eric & Lia, We are so sorry for you loss. We have many memories of the time we shared at England AFB. No words are adequate for the pain your family is experiencing, but be assured with the passing of time your good memories will replace the pain.

Though I only new Suse as a friend of her son-in-law she always treated me as a most welcome guest in her house. That she could treat those whom she barely knew with such warmth and open hospitality is how I will always remember her. The world was a better place with Suse in it and she will be missed.

Lia and Skip...We will really miss Suse...she had such a GREAT sense of humor especially to put up with Pentathlon stories!!...We will always remember getting together with you all for brunches and dinners and how beautiful her house and yard were. Suse was our next door neighbor on Flieger Strasse in Kaiserslautern, GE circa '79-'82. We remember her fondly; and we remember the clothes that she designed and made for herself and her daughter. Also the many homemade foods she created were just wonderful. She also loved flowers. She and her family were great neighbors and she will certainly be missed all.....

I remember when Ms. Morse used to make sandwiches for Lia and me when we were younger. She would spread that butter thick. Yummy! Not to mention, her poppy seed cakes were the best!! Every time I was around Ms. Morse she was always doing something creative. Whether it was painting an armoire or sewing a dress, she merrily worked along while I watched curiously. Even though, I never had the opportunity to be around Ms. Morse after my last visit to San Antonio in the 80's, I have been fortunate to reconnect with her daughter, Lia, who is a testament to the kind of woman Ms. Morse was.
