It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the peaceful passing of Suyon Crozier, who left us on September 17, 2023, at the age of 91, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on July 28, 1932, in the beautiful land of South Korea, Suyon's journey of life was a tale of love, resilience, and warmth.
Finding love and a lifelong partner in Richard Crozier, together they built a world of memories in Del Rio, TX, for 42 cherished years. Their home was a testament to Suyon’s love for life. She was very active and always busy, and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones and nurturing plants in her garden.
Suyon's legacy lives on through her daughter, Kim Cox and her devoted son-in-law, Richard. The stories of her courage and love will forever be remembered by her grandchildren, Justin Cox, Stormy Archer, and Sage Summersby.
Suyon leaves behind a trio of sisters - Sutok Kim, Supong Kim, and Sukyung Kim - a testament to the strength and bond of family ties. They share countless memories, from their early days in South Korea to the challenges and joys that life brought them.
Suyon's family extends an invitation to friends, relatives, and all who have been touched by Suyon’s life, to join them in celebrating her remarkable journey.
Visitation will take place at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road, San Antonio, Texas 78238, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A graveside service, where Suyon will be laid to rest, will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. (Shelter #1).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a tree or flowering shrub in Suyon’s memory, a nod to her love for gardening and nature.
