So many stories. So many memories of how many lives Sylvia touched.

For my daughter, a child she was an angel sent in the form of a substitute. My daughter was in elementary school when Mrs. Gomez became her long term substitute. My daughter had difficulty with substitutes, she was very shy, but Mrs. Gomez poured all of her love on her. She protected her from bullies and helped her when she had trouble reading always reminding her that God was watching her. This is where our friendship with Sylvia began. With her friendship of a child. My little girl has faith that Mrs. Gomez will be her guardian angel.

For my mother she was a best friend. My mother tells me stories of Sylvia and their Golden Life Ladies. Sylvia was the one full of adventure, ready to enjoy life. She was the Life of the party. She brought joy to the group as their leader. My mother told me a story of when they went to Corpus, some of the other ladies only wanted to look at the water but Sylvia jumped in the beach and wanted my mother to swim with her. She brought out surf boards and had my mom join her. My mother had many laughs with her.

For myself she was a mentor. She helped me when I almost lost my own mother. She held my hand in one of the most difficult moments of my life. When I though I almost give up. Sylvia held my hand and she continued through phone calls, a hug, she always checked up on me. I can still feel her hug and see her smile. She sat next to my mother's hospital bed and prayed constantly.  She never gave up praying to God and showed me that God always has the final word.

Sylvia has touched our lives and forever we will be greatful. We thank God for our beautiful friend. We have faith she is rejoicing in Heaven and being the Life of the party.

I give my condolences to the Gomez Family. Silvia was a women of God and she always had a smile on her face. God has gained another angel. You will be greatly be missed.  Until we meet again. 
                                

First and foremost my heartfelt condolences to the family, this journey called life is never easy when a loved one is called home especially when it's a Mother. I met Sylvia at SonRise Christian Church she always has a smile on her face a sweet spirited woman of God and it reflected on her son Issac. A legacy of Gods love is what she leaves behind for all who knew her. May God comfort those in her life and may they cherish every moment of life they shared with her.

Sylvia we shared MANY great moments together with our families 👪.   Those memories will always 💙❤ be treasured in our hearts 💕 and spirit.
Noone can take that away from us.

My sister Sylvia I will never forget you,  you have been such an inspiration for me. A great mentor and teacher but most importantly a beautiful spirit who knew and used the fruits of the spirit in a daily basis. Gone but never forgotten. You will always be in my heart. Love you.

I will always remember your beautiful smile and laughter. You will always be near and dear to my heart. You opened up your doors and your family to someone who felt lost, scared, and empty.  You never judged me and always had faith that God would lead me in the right path. I will always cherish our time together and be grateful to you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you Ms. Gomez for being my Angel.
