Sylvia Lopez

She was born to Cecilio Maldonado and Patricia Gomez. She was married to Raul G. Lopez for 44 years. Sylvia worked in sales most of her career and most recently for QVC. She had a passion for gardening and antique shopping. She enjoyed collecting Victorian and Americana style trinkets.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio and Patricia Maldonado and beloved husband, Raul G. Lopez.

She is survived by her son, Nick Lopez and his wife, Myrna, JoAnn Aranda and her husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Patrick J. Vela, Christopher A. Lopez (Kimberly Lopez), Alyssa A. Aranda, Thomas Aranda Jr.; sister, Hortence Maldonado; niece, Janet Arnold and nephew, Robert Arnold.

A committal service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
