Taylor was called to heaven on July 9th, 2016 at the age of 17. This handsome young man was born with cerebral palsy, and although "Tater" was unable to speak or walk, was loved by all. He communicated with his eyes, infectious laugh which coupled with his excellent listening skills, made him quite the ladies' man. His maladies did not restrict his road trips with Mom and Dad to distant places such as the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Pike's Peak. "Tay" loved being read to by his girlfriend Sofia, homemade milkshakes, banked-track roller derby and swinging in his hammock. But his consistent joy was water. Any pool, hot tub, shower, and/or boat ride produced exorbitant happiness.
Taylor was preceded in death by his great grandmama, Thelma Williamson. He is survived by his parents Suzy Clark Saenz and Ray Saenz of San Antonio, Texas; his grandparents Jeff and Diane Clark of Rockport, Texas; his aunt and uncle, Christina Clark Perez and Bobby Perez, and their two children, Mae and Mina, all of Friendswood, Texas; and his aunt and uncle, Patti and Michael Brophy, and their two children, Garrett and Sean, all of Grayson, Georgia. Taylor is also survived by several "furry" brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation starting at 8:30 a.m. with services to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14th, at Porter Loring Mortuary North located at 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas.
A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche, Corpus Christi, Texas.
Joyce McCoy will officiate the services. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Perez, Rudy Saenz, Eddy Saenz, Evan Schulz, Juan Juarez, and Steven Edlin.
