Dad,
Always wishing you were here and just wonder what life would be like and what would be different, i do know it would be a lot better. I have heard some funny stories about you recently and we seem pretty similar!

I've been thinking about a lot the last couple of days. Me, mom and Jace were telling Tuff and Taven about our summer adventures camping at Chalk Bluff. We sure do miss you and the many jokes you shared with us. Taven looks more and more like you everyday. Bushy eye brows and all! Tuff is tall and I know he is not done growing! I know your watching over us in Heaven!

Teddy was such a blessing to me because of his desire to go on the Walk to Emmaus with my husband. Indirectly, without even knowing it, Teddy was one of the major reasons that that brought Rob closer to his God. God always has a plan, even though it may be tough for us. Each of us is put here on this earth for specific reasons. I believe Teddy was here to show us that life is precious, time is short, and you can always find the love of Jesus when you look for it! Make the most of your lives, love those whom you come in contact with, even if it is difficult. You NEVER know who you are influencing; Put yourself out there--share the love of Christ with your loved ones beacuse they are far too precious to risk losing! May God Bless You All--Lea

The memories I treasure most of you Teddy are the deep and adoring love you had for your sons. Your eyes sparkled with pride. Your ability to take something negative and always see the positive, your kind heart and thoughtfulness, your great love of family and friends, and your wonderful sense of humor made you the special person I knew. You could keep me laughing for hours. I miss my friend.

To Toni and Ralph: It is never easy for those left behind, especially when you lose somebody so unexpectedly. We feel the shock and share you sorrow, sure that his memory will live in the hearts of the many people that loved him.

I cannot express at all the sorrow and disbelief when reading the obituaries this morning. I am so sorry for not being able to appear today for Brent's services. Even though it has been many, many years since I have scene him, my memories of your son, brother and best friend have remained as if we had never lost touch. The spirit in him was like no other I have ever met. The kind that the rest of us are too scared to express and many may have looked down on. But about 8 years ago I saw Torri in a Dr.'s office when at the lowest point of my life. after loosing my parents and husbandI really took an about face in finding God again and then having a son. Your family has always been such a fond memory of mine throughout the years. When Kelly and I used to sing the song about the horses Ty, Boots and little Jack @#% and me being the only one to get Brent to sing it. Of course not in anyone elses presence. Toni, the love you have for your children is like no others. You always allowed them to be themselves knowing they all had their own personalities and differences and always supported them. I only pray that I am half the mother that you have been to them. Always remember the honor that you all have been blessed with to have each other and remember the lives of all of those your family have touched throughout the years. We are truly blessed to have ever had you as friends. Again, I will state that the overwhelming grief that I feel is nothing to what you are living. My heart and prayers are with you every minute. Teddy, I just saw you and your son the Sunday before you died at the Taco Cabana in Boerne. I said hi but forgot to go up to you and shake your hand,I really wish I would have.....Sorry. I am going to miss calling your phone and hearing your voice mail "This is Teddy Brent Puddl Jumper Well Co" in your twang accent, I will always remember you showing me that picture of that big ass moutain lion, I showed my son and it scared the crap out of him wnen I told him where they found it locally. Take care PAL save me a drink up there. may you rest in peace.

There is a point in everyones life when we regret certain things...maybe its the way we treated someone or done something we shouldn't have but no matter how much we want to we can't change the past, all we have is the present.I say these things because I know Teddy made his share of mistakes as we all have but he always tried his best to help everyone and live a full and celebrated life.If I do nothing else in life I pray that I may live with such high spirits and have just as much high hopes and love for my family that Teddy had for his.This man was an all-around good friend and someone to be proud to know, I know that he will be missed terribly but it is my comfort that I wll rejoin him again in Heaven with our Heavenly Father.

Brent Hale - the original Bart Simpson. My first few years of living in Texas were definitely made more tolerable by your presence. One of my favorite memories was the day you slayed the chicken snake that was in our chicken coop for me. You were so proud of yourself that you tied the dead snake to the back of that old yellow car of yours and drove up and down the street dragging the snake. Of course, a close second in good memories was the night we stole the poodles! Whenever I reminisce about my teens you always to come to mind. The thought of you always makes me smile. You know how some people stay in your heart and your memories for a lifetime? Well, you are one of those people.

Teddy was always so full of life and was a very special person to many of us. He made people laugh and it was always so good just to be around him. We shall all miss him so terribly much and will pray for his sons. May Teddy rest in peace with the Lord above.
