Terri was born on October 6, 1954, in San Antonio, TX to Joann and Bobby Taylor. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and went on to earn both Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from UTSA. Terri was known for many great things including her professional commitments and 30+ years of work in various accounting roles at Luby’s Corporate office (before and during Luby’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange) and as a Certified Public Accountant at CPS Energy from 2005 until she retired in January of 2020.
While her professional achievements were many, she was most proud of her personal relationships. She was a soulmate to her husband David for 44 years where they shared many interests including travel, water activities, food, gardening, family, and other sports interests. Terri was an incredible daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all. Her thoughtfulness, selflessness, kindness and generosity will be remembered in our hearts forever. She always put others first and words cannot describe how deeply she will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Peyton Taylor. Terri is survived by her husband, David Rathmann; sisters, Sue Taylor Kunz and Gay Layne Taylor; mother, Joann Peyton Taylor; father, Bobby Gene Taylor; nieces and nephews, Janea Danielle Taylor, Kendra Anne Heredia, Dustin Taylor Kunz, Ernesto Peyton Taylor, Joseph Rathmann; and great-niece, Keziah Brielle Heredia.
