Terry Lee Willis

Terry Lee Willis, age 77, was promoted to heaven on Friday, June 10, 2022, in his home in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 8, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska, to his parents, Lora Sam and Maxine Willis. He was employed by Cornerstone Church in the Security Department. As a part of his excellent service there, he loved his job and his church family. As a security consultant in his earlier years, he was responsible for the protection of high-profile individuals and groups, such as his job with the 1984 Republican Convention. He was a successful and highly respected leader in the national convention industry for over 35 years. Terry loved the Jewish people and was passionately instrumental in the production of Christians United for Israel, founded by Pastor John Hagee. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve and brother-in-law Michael D. Howerton. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Deborah Howerton Willis; father-in-law Rev. Ronald Howerton; brother James; daughter Samantha Willis Patterson and son-in-law David Patterson; daughter Amanda Willis; sister-in-law Lana Howerton and family Candace, Rian, and Ella Grace; Step-daughter Cassandra Stark and son-in-law Robert; Step-son Jonathan Kelm and daughter-in- law Anna; Step-son Nathan Andrew Kelm; Step-son Bruce Helix and daughter-in- law Shannon; Grandchildren Lisa Carrasco and fianc Mark Rodriguez; Whitney Patterson Hernandez and husband Pepe Hernandez; Grant Patterson; Robert Stark and wife Kelly, Christopher Stark, Jesse Stark and wife Daphne; Shane Stark; Faith, Hope, and Love Kelm; Nathaneal, Aaron, and David Kelm; Logan and Jaxson Helix; Great- grandchildren Aliiya, Mason Isaac, Isaiah, Noah, Mark, Barrett, Esme, Makenzie, Kathryn, Christopher, Cameron, Kaydence; many nieces and nephews; loving church family and many friends, The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2022, at Cornerstone Church Vada Hagee Chapel.
