Thelma was a devoted, loving wife of Elmer, mother of Walter and David, grandmother of Daniel and Matthew and mother-in-law of Mary Alice and Julie.
She was the best kind of friend to Mary Ruth and beloved aunt, cousin, and sister-in-law.
Thelma was born on August 17, 1923 in Astoria, Oregon. She married Elmer W. Seeds on January 10, 1943 in Vancover, WA.
They traveled the country while Elmer was in the USAF and returned to San Antonio, Elmer's home town where they raised their sons.
Thelma was the school secretary at Randolph Air Force Base Elementary School for many years.
She also worked at the Officer's Club for several years and finally for Jay and Barbara Schulte's San Antonio Fire Restoration Company. Thelma retired in 1992.
Thelma was an active member of the Woodlawn Christian Church and also a member of the Daughters of the Nile.
The Seeds family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and assistance during this difficult time.
We are especially grateful to the police department and EMS teams and to the doctors, nurses and staff at Brooke Army Medical Center who did their best to save her life.
We feel great comfort in knowing that her bright spirit and gentle heart are resting with her Lord.
God truly blessed us all with his gift of Thelma May Seeds.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX or to the Charity of One's Choice.
