Theodore C. Martinez, age, 80, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 4, 1941, in San Antonio, to parents, Teodoro and Mary Martinez. Ted served in the US Navy aboard the USS Saratoga. Later he worked for Butter Krust for over 13 years, as a route salesman and then went to be a bread distributor for Pepperidge Farm for 20 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by, his wife, Ernestina Oropeza Martinez; his parents, Teodoro and Mary Martinez, and daughter Laura Yvonne Martinez. Ted was survived by his children, Melissa White, Teddy Martinez, and Tina Martinez-Garcia; his grandchildren, Kristie Sauceda, Harrison White, Jay White, Gabriella Garcia and Esther Martinez; his siblings, Yolanda Stevenson (Ronald) and Gabriel Martinez (Nancy); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Father Jim Schellenberg and Deacon Hector Ledesma will officiate. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
