Theresa Gonzales Diaz, age 75, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Theresa was born on February 17th, 1945, in San Antonio to Trinidad Acosta Gonzales and Teresa Herrera, the third of four siblings.
Theresa married Armando Diaz on December 22nd, 1967, and they were blessed with over fifty years together as husband and wife, enjoying time spent gardening, volksmarching across Texas, camping, fishing, and jetskiing. Theresa also worked for thirty five years as a civil servant for the Air Force and was a reserve deputy sheriff for Bexar County.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Gloria and her older brother Trinidad (Joe), and she is survived by her husband, Armando; her sister Santa Lawson and husband Howard; her nieces and nephews, Bernard, Jason, Sylvia, Mathew, George, and Sandra; and a lifetime of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
