Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Albert William Moore Jr. and Jeanne Peeler Moore. She leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply: her brothers Tommy (Nancy), Billy (Joan), and Davy (Lauri); her nieces and nephews Brian, Chassie (Kevin), Ashley (Kyle), Austin (Kelsey), Mick, Tyler (Maria), and Jenna; nine great-nieces and nephews; and many beloved cousins and lifelong friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their cousin, Cindy Littlefield, for her unwavering support and frequent visits to Terry.
Terry was always ready for her next adventure. Whether she was trying out the latest restaurant, planning a getaway, spending time with the people she loved, or hopping on a plane to Australia to visit her dear friends. Her travels brought her joy and unforgettable memories, and her stories always made those around her feel like they were right there beside her.
In her early teens, Terry was an excellent swimmer and a proud member of the Colonies North Aquatic Club Swim Team, where she won many events.
Always motivated, she graduated high school a year early by taking summer classes to earn extra credits. She had a lifelong love for speed—driving a fast '69 Camaro during high school and buying her first Corvette shortly after graduation, Terry's work life was as adventurous as she was. She held many different jobs over the years, including being a bookkeeper for a large corporation, a whitewater river rafting guide in Colorado, waitress, bartender, and travel agent. She also worked at several veterinary clinics, which fit perfectly with her love of animals, especially her cats.
She had a deep curiosity about the world and loved to travel, visiting places like Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Her sense of style reflected her vibrant spirit—unique, confident, and full of life. She had a way of making every space feel warmer with her presence—always thoughtful, she brought genuine care and light to every relationship. A beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Terry's laughter, warmth, and generous heart will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Terry's celebration of life will be held August 16th at 3 p.m. at 512 Skyforest Drive, San Antonio, TX 78232.
