Thi was born on January 1, 1935 in Vietnam. She married Van Thung Nguyen and they lived together in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and San Antonio, Texas. Together they raised 4 children.
She is survived by: Dung Van Nguyen ( Kim), Ba Thi Lam (Khen), Tu Van Nguyen (Yen) and Dien Thi Nguyen (Hoang). She also leaves to cherish her memory: Tam Nguyen, Phuong Nguyen, Jennifer Aceves, Lee Ann Lam, Hai Lam, Maisie Lam, Loan Lam, Hiep Phan, Linda Nguyen, Brandon Nguyen, Randy Khuong Le, Jennifer Le and Amanda Dieu Le.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2024, 5 pm to 8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral and committal will occur Friday, July 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home. The family requests that donations be made to Lien Hoa Buddhist Temple at 5043 Excalibur Dr, San Antonio, TX 78218.
