

Thomas Earl Finley, 80, of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma February 16, 1936 to Elliott T. and Audie B. Finley.
He served in the US Air Force from June 1954 to October 1957. While serving in Warner Robins, Georgia, he met and married Carolyn Fay Dixon of Macon, Georgia. March 15, 2016 marks 59 years of their marriage.
He was a member of Creekmont Missionary Baptist Church in LaPorte, Texas. He was a born again Christian and served the Lord in many areas of his life. He worked with numerous ABA Baptist churches. He was an ordained Deacon. He taught Bible classes and was a great witness to all people in every walk of life. He loved all of the preachers at every church he belonged to; he was always a Pastor's friend.
He was preceded by his parents and his brother James Finley.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Fay Finley; his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Bostick; his son, Thomas Jeff Finley; his brothers, Bill Dixon and Frank Finley and by his cousin, Donald Moak.
