Surrounded by loved ones, Thomas Brian O'Sullivan entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Tom fought a courageous and faith-filled two-year battle with the heart of a warrior, and the biggest motivation for his fight was to spend more time with his family. Tom's greatest pride was his love for his children, Sean, Brenden, and Eryn, and their successful education and career accomplishments. He was born to Marilyn and George O'Sullivan on August 14, 1963, in Spokane, Washington. Tom was a happy child, and his fondest memories of his childhood were growing up on Hickam AFB, Hawaii, where he enjoyed riding his bicycle, playing baseball, and fishing. He graduated from Damien Memorial High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, class of 1981. At an early age, he discovered his love and passion for the food service industry and pursued a successful career as a restaurant owner and operator. Tom's Irish heritage was prevalent in his life, his catholic faith, listening to Irish music, his humor and wit, and realizing his dream of traveling to Ireland to visit the homesteads of his paternal grandparents. Tom was a history buff and welcomed conversations about American history. Tom's favorite past times were either traveling to small Texas towns meeting new people and trying the local cuisine, or deep-sea fishing, listening to music, and trying to keep a few on the hook.
Tom was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He was preceded in death by his father, George. Thomas is survived by his children, Sean, Brenden, and Eryn O'Sullivan; mother, Marilyn O'Sullivan; sisters, Colleen O'Sullivan; Julie Quick (Dave); Kathy O'Sullivan; brothers, Harry O'Sullivan, George O'Sullivan (Cathy); nieces and nephews, John and Ryan O'Sullivan, Tavis and Karah Quick, and Jon, Julia and Kerry Wiegand; former spouse Heidi O'Sullivan, and friends.
