Thomas Anthony Reynolds

Thomas “Tommy” Anthony Reynolds, III, age 62, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas, from natural causes. Tommy was born on January 14, 1959, in London, England, to Thomas Anthony Reynolds, Jr., and Ivy Doris Cozens. Ivy met Tommy’s step-father, James Hannon, a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, while he was stationed in England. James brought Ivy and his new family to Houston, Texas, after they were married in 1971. In 1978 Tommy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He achieved the rank of E5 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1985. In 1990 while serving as head of security for One Riverwalk Place in San Antonio, Texas, Tommy met his future wife, Kathleen. They were married in 1992 and in 1994 his pride and joy, Brittney Michelle Reynolds, was born. In 2004 Tommy accepted a position as a civil contractor with KBR/Halliburton in Iraq providing logistical support to the U.S. Military. He spent many years providing support to the U.S. Military overseas risking his own life to support his brothers in arms and received many honors for his service and dedication.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Ivy Doris Hannon; his father, Thomas Reynolds, Jr.; his step-father, James Hannon; and his brother, Gary Reynolds.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittney Michelle Reynolds; his brother, John Reynolds; his sisters, Linda Edgmon and Carol Reynolds; his nephew, Kurtis Edgmon; and his nieces, Krystle Martinez and Kayla Edgmon.

Everyone who knew Tommy knew that he was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps., a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, a jokester who always loved a good laugh, and above all, he adored his daughter, Brittney. All who knew him, loved him.
