

Wes is survived by his father, Thomas Louis Spencer and step-mother Violetta Valentinovna Spencer, his son Thomas Dylan Spencer and his sisters, Katherine Spencer Lee (John) and Sarah Louise Spencer (Marc Alan Husky). He is also survived by his nephew John Lee Smith IV and his Aunts, Candace Watkins Allen (Len) and Ginger Marks Watkins. He is also loved and remembered by his cousins and many life-long friends.
Wes was predeceased by his beloved mother Janet Kay Spencer, his grandparents Marvin Wesley and Nita Nance Spencer, James Thomas Watkins and Sarah Beatrice Watkins and his uncle, Thomas Grant Watkins.
Wes was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He grew up in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona and attended Arcadia High School in Scottsdale, Arizona where he was an All Star Middle Linebacker. He attended Northern Arizona University and was an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
He found comfort and peace in his family and friends and on the beach. One of his favorite places was the ocean. More specifically, the Caribbean. He was, as many beach lovers are, an avid Jimmy Buffet fan.
Wes was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. He cared so deeply for the people around him. He was so kind and passionate. He made an impact on many lives. He will be forever missed.A visitation will be held at June 17, 2023 between 3:30 PM CT and 5:30 PM CT at Porter Loring Mortuary North at 2102 North Loop 1604 East in San Antonio.
